Know the signs of heat exhaustion

With the warm weather continuing, it’s important to look after yourself and those around you.

Heat can be dangerous for everyone, but older people, young children, and those with long-term health conditions are especially at risk.

Common signs of heat exhaustion include:

⚠️ Headache.
⚠️ Dizziness or confusion.
⚠️ Excessive sweating & pale, clammy skin.
⚠️ Nausea or vomiting.
⚠️ Cramps in arms, legs or stomach.
⚠️ Fast breathing or pulse.

If you notice these signs:

✅ Move to a cool place.
✅ Lie down & raise feet slightly.
✅ Drink plenty of water or a sports drink.
✅ Cool skin with water, fans or cold packs.

If symptoms don’t improve after 30 minutes, it could be heatstroke – call 999 immediately. 🚑
