MMRV is a combined vaccine that protects against:
- Measles
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Chickenpox
It means fewer injections, with strong, long-lasting protection.
Chickenpox is usually mild, but not always.
While many children recover well, chickenpox can sometimes lead to serious complications and hospital care.
From January 2026, protection against chickenpox is included in the routine childhood vaccine (MMRV), helping to keep children safer.
