World Cancer Day | 4th February 2026

World Cancer Day

On World Cancer Day, we raise awareness about cancer and to encourage action that can save lives. This international day highlights the importance of prevention, early detection, treatment and supportive care and reminds us that every action, big or small, counts! 🎗️

🌍 This year’s campaign – United by Unique

The 2025-27 World Cancer Day theme, “United by Unique”, places people at the centre of cancer care. It recognises that each person’s experience with cancer is different, and that we are all united in the shared goal of improving care, support and outcomes for everyone affected.

💪 Why it matters:

  • Cancer affects millions of lives worldwide, but many deaths are preventable with awareness and early action.
  • Together we can challenge stigma, spread accurate information, and support those living with cancer.
  • You can help by sharing stories, learning about risk reduction, checking in with loved ones, and supporting positive change.

📣 What you can do on 4th February:

✔ Talk about cancer awareness with family or friends.
✔ Share reliable info on social media.
✔ Support someone living with cancer.
✔ Take small steps for prevention and early detection.

Every voice and every action can make a difference. 🌟
